The AlphaTheta (Pioneer DJ) XDJ-AZ has the layout and feel of the flagship CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9, providing an intuitive experience. When you play on the system, you feel like you’re one with the decks, which allows for more creative performances. The XDJ-AZ features full-size jog wheels that feel identical to those found on the CDJ-3000, making pitch bending and scratching extremely smooth.
The mixer portion follows the DJM-A9’s straightforward structure, with all controls positioned for maximum playability. It also includes user-friendly controls for assigning Beat FX, allowing you to express yourself through music. So, once you’ve mastered the XDJ-AZ, you’ll be familiar with how club-standard equipment operates and feels, making it much easier to perform at your peak at clubs.
MULTIMODE CONNECTIVITY FOR PRO LEVEL DJ
AlphaTheta has guaranteed that there are plenty of ways to bring the action to your next set with the XDJ-AZ’s range of connectivity features. To begin, the XDJ-AZ has three USB ports: two Type-A and one rear-mounted Type-C.
For booming back-to-back sets and seamless hand-offs, AlphaTheta carefully placed the dual USB-A ports away from the possibility of inadvertent disconnection, while maintaining them surface-mounted for convenient access. Plus, each port has a lighted indicator and a USB Stop button to keep you informed while you travel. Alternatively, the XDJ-AZ supports stereo RCA inputs for the DJ system’s third and fourth channels, as well as combo jacks for both microphone inputs, greatly expanding your performance options to include drum machines, sequencers, turntables, synthesizers, and more.
HUGE SCREEN WITH MORE TOUCH CAPABILITIES
The XDJ-AZ’s 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen not only provides more visual information, but it also makes everything easier to handle. Up to 13 tracks can be displayed simultaneously, up from 8 on the XDJ-XZ, allowing you to see more of your music and find songs faster.
You can also save up to four playlists for easy access, utilize Touch Preview to preview tracks in playlists without loading them, and use Touch Cue to preview the next portion of tracks now playing on the deck. Furthermore, with the option to display the status of the selected Performance Pad and Beat FX settings simultaneously, you may quickly comprehend the information you need to execute.
MASTER EQ & DETAILED MIXER SETTINGS WITH BEATPORT STREAMING
You can also use the 3-Band Master EQ to tweak the output sound according to the acoustic characteristics of the venue.. And the unit features a dedicated button for the mixer settings, so you can quickly check and adjust the mixer’s status on-screen.
With support for Beatport Streaming, the StreamingDirectPlay feature enables you to directly play tracks from Beatport’s vast dance music library and the latest genre-specific playlists. You’ll even get analysis data such as waveform, BPM, and grid information so you can easily mix new and diverse music into your sets.
