Production experts are raving about Akai‘s APC Mini Mk2 because it gives complete Ableton Live control to a little performing powerhouse. Similar to its predecessor, an 8-inch by 8-inch matrix takes up the most of the control surface. Its 64 RGB-backlit buttons graphically portray the session that is now live on the screen.
The bottom quadrant is decorated with nine multi-functional sliders that may be fully assigned for pan, mix, FX operations, and more. Scene launch buttons are located on the right side, while the lower row of buttons may be used to control navigation and utility features. The integrated Ableton Live Lite software and various plug-ins from famous AIR Music Technologies are supplemented with flexible playback modes.
